Feast of Tabernacles 2020 – Southport, Merseyside, north-west England
We are pleased to confirm that the United Church of God’s Feast of Tabernacles venue in 2020 will be the seaside town of Southport in north-west England.
The Church was last in Southport for the Feast in 2016. In 2020 we will be using the Prince of Wales Hotel located on Southport’s prestigious Lord Street. This hotel will provide us with a large-capacity meeting room and an accommodation arrangement that will allow Feast-goers to stay together in the hotel on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.
Registration is now open. To register, go to https://www.ucg.org/members/feast/sites/2020/southport-merseyside-england and click the green “Register Now” button toward the right-hand side to begin registration.
Once registered, the Feast planning team will communicate a summary of the accommodation available in the Prince of Wales, together with cost information and the process to be followed to book accommodation at the hotel.

All About the Feast of Tabernacles
Chronicling the activities of Jesus Christ’s earthly ministry, the book of John points out that when the “Feast of Tabernacles was at hand,” Jesus Himself “went up to the feast” and taught at the Temple in Jerusalem. This was done in observance of the final of three annual Festival seasons that are outlined in the Bible, particularly in the book of Leviticus. These three seasons, the Passover and Days of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Pentecost and the Fall Festival season, were all observed by Jesus and the first-century Church. The latter season is capped by the eight-day Festival of Tabernacles and Last Great Day (also called “the eighth day”) (Leviticus:23:33-36).
